Abstract

This research project explores the antecedents, covariates, and long-term labor market outcomes of students who moved between Ontario post-secondary institutions in the period ranging from the mid-1970s through the mid-1990s using the Class of '73 longitudinal database. This dataset spans from 1973 to 2019 and allows for the examination of historical patterns in transfer within Ontario PSE. It provides a historical baseline through which we can better understand progress that has been made in our credit transfer systems. It also provides a reference point for newer work being funded by ONCAT on transfer student labor market outcomes.
